Paddle The paddle has existed since 1969. It started in Mexico. After that, it became popular in several countries and began spreading its practice in America and Europe. Mexico, Argentina,Brazil,Canada,Chile,UK,Spain and Portugal are countries where the paddle has had a great development. The world championship of paddle is an international competition of paddle that is every two years since 1992. The first competition was celebrated in Spain.The competitions have a female and a male version.The team of Argentina is the team that has won more tournaments. My favourite competitor is Carolina Navarro. Carolina Navarro is a proffesional player. She occupies  the position number one of the ranking after she has won in several occasions the world championship paddle in doubles and selections. BY: Nuria Muñoz Cerezo

Synchronized swimming History: At the beginnig of the twentieth century, synchronized swimming was known as water ballet. The competition was firstly recorded in 1891 in Berlin, Germany.Many clubs were created at that time, and the sport was developed simultaneously in several countries, including: Australia, Canada,USA and Europe,Germany, France and Spain. Synchronyzed swimming is a discipline that combines swimming,dancing and gymnastics, consisting of swimmers (either alone, in pairs, or teams) performing in the water a routine motion made to the rhythm of music. The best swimmers in the Spanish sport have been: Andrea Fuentes, Ana Carbonell,Thais Enriquez, Paula Klamburg,  Margalinda Crespí, Clara Camacho ,Cristina Salvador, Irene Martruchio, Judith Requema, Gema Mengual y Paola Tirados.     MY CLASS, 3º B Hello friends! My name is Jesús Redondo, I'm in I.E.S. Ricardo Delgado Vizcaíno in Pozoblanco (Córdoba) and I am writing about our habits and our hobbies.      In my school you can find a lot of students and fantastic teachers, if you come to “Ricardo” you always laugh with my friends and you never feel lonely because the teachers help everyone. In the English class, you can see that students are a bit nervous, because sometimes we don't understand all the words, but we try to do our best. Our favourite subjects are biology, P.E., Spanish and Social Sciences. For us, the worst subjects are Mathematics and Physics and Chemistry.      In “Ricardo” we celebrate some festivals, such as: Día de Andalucía, Día de la Paz, Día de la Costitución, etc. These festivals are very funny and amusing.             My Class 2ºB Hello! We are some students of the classes 2ºA, 2ºB and 2ºC but we study English in 2ºB together. We are sitting in couples and we laugh much with it. Our classes are funny and we like our teacher. We are very good friends, with some more than with another but we are kind to each other. We meet our friends, we listen to music, we chat on the internet... and we love it.   I know all the students of my class because most of us are together since we were small and we know our hobbies, friends… It is my class and I love it. MY CLASS: 3ºA Hi everyone!! I want to talk about my class. Our class is 3ºA, all of us are very active, positive and funny. We love listening to music because it makes us smile. We also like having fun;  in fact we are always joking and laughing. Everyday we have to go to school and when somebody is a bit sad or worried, everybody tries to cheer him up, everybody tries to help him. I think that we are very good friends. Our hobbies are like most teenagers´hobbies: we like meeting our friends at weekends, we like going to the cinema, some of us prefer reading and some of us prefer playing computer games or social networks. ¿Quienes somos? Somos un grupo de alumnos del IES Ricardo DElgado Vizcaíno, que intentamos hablar en inglés, escribir en inglés, comunicarnos al fin y al cabo. Aquí, yo, que soy la profesora, he pensado en dar un altavoz a todos para que podamos expresar un poco de lo que sentimos para conocernos mejor, para que nos conozcan, para que seamos alguien más. Estas primeras entradas, las han escrito alumnos elegidos por sus clases en 2º de ESO,  3ºA y 3ºB. ¿Qué podría decir yo de ellos como profesora? Todos tienen algo que los hace especiales, y todos tienen algo que contar, algo que enseñarnos. Espero que todos podamos disfrutar con esta experiencia. Who are we?
